Description of Services:	A culturally sensitive service which offers befriending and emotional/practical support to mental health service users. One to one contact to encourage independent living and access to social/leisure activities. The project's two groups provide a meeting place to reduce isolation. Organises cooking sessions and social excursions regularly to promote positive self image, improving lifestyle. Some African and Asian languages catered for.
Project Base:	The projects two groups are held at 19 Mansfield Road, Ilford Essex IG1 3BA
Are referrals necessary?	Yes, all referrals need to come via CMHTs or other health and social care services. Referrals are only accepted for service users on the Care Programme Approach (CPA) register.
