Description of Services: |
The service is part of the Redbridge Integrated Acute Services. We provide service to adults over the age of 16 years who reside in the London Borough of Redbridge. They must have a severe mental illness (SMI), experiencing an acute mental health crisis of such a severity that they would be, in the absence of the service intervention be likely to require hospital admission. The service is an alternative to acute inpatient admission - we gatekeep all admissions, facilitate early discharge from hospital for those who needed admission and provide day treatment within the Acute Day Treatment Service. |
