Description of Services: |
A specialist multi-disciplinary mental health service providing assessment and on-going community support to people over 65 residing in the London Borough of Redbridge. Made up of Community Mental Health Nurses, Social Workers, OTs, Psychologists, a Physiotherapist and Support Staff, our aim is to significantly improve the health and social functionality of people with mental illness, and support them to live in an environment of their choice for as long as possible. There is a Carers Co-ordinator to support carers of people with functional mental health problems and three Admiral Nurses to support carers of people with dementia. |

We offer an open referral system but advise that all referrals go via the GP to rule out any physical cause. |
