Description of Services: |
To provide support, advice and information for people in the early stages of dementia and their carers. We also aim to ensure that people presenting with signs of early dementia get sensitive support to access a professional diagnosis. Empowering and supporting the individual to be living well with dementia. To qualify for the service the person must be experiencing the symptoms of the early stages of dementia: decline in any area of cognitive ability; memory loss; poor concentration; confusion; communication; withdrawal and isolation. The person must live in the London Borough of Redbridge and be over the age of 50 and consent to this service. |
