Description of Services: |
The scheme offers weekly support, listening and company in the community for those adults who are experiencing severe mental or emotional distress and loneliness. Where appropriate and requested the befriender will also attend meetings such as CPAs, offering moral support and an extra listening ear. The service also encourages volunteering from service users and ex-service users. |
