RAMFEL is proud to host for Human Rights Day and International Migrants Day Migration Matters 2012, A Year of Multicultural Celebration and the Role of the Foreigner

Following on from last years hugely popular Migration Matters 2011 conference, we are once again convening a series of hard hitting, diverse activities and events to mark Human Rights Day (Monday 10
th December) and International Day of Migrants (18th December) on Wednesday 12th December 2012.
The theme this year is ‘culture and cultural resistance/resilience’ and is in keeping with the various discussions that have materialised this year over multiculturalism, integration, and as a result of the Jubilee and the Olympics.

After a day long series of events, join us for our finale event, where we will premiere Eastside Community Heritage's latest film, The Luos Community in East Londonand hear from an eminent panel of speakersreflect on exactly what the 2012 celebrations mean for the way we look at race and migration.
